Short Information on Phase I
It has been almost five centuries since one of the most fabulous treasures on record disappeared from the Spanish conquerors of Peru, that is, what was contained within the KORICANCHA or THE INCA TEMPLE OF THE SUN:
"The existence of an extensive tunnel network of prodigious Inca construction, that begins at the Temple of the Sun and goes beneath Cusco all the way to the archaeological site at Saqsaywaman covering a distance of approximately two kilometers, housing the better part of the treasure, formed into statues, sun discs, trees, flowers, birds, containers and ceremonial objects, which the Incas hid there during the time of the Spanish conquest"
Many historians and researchers such as Garcilaso de la Vega, Cieza de Leon, Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala, Martin de Morua, Sarmiento de Gamboa, Ernst Middendorf, William Montgomery, McGovern and Alexander Von Humboldt have referred to these tunnels in their writings.

Phase I
Phase I
Casa de America is an official institution in Madrid (Spain), which was founded in 1992. The king of Spain and the Presidents of the countries that participated in the Conference were the official founders of this place.
During the presentation it was recognised that the conducted exploration and excavations, was one of the most serious archaeological effort to discover not only the gold of The Inca, but provide important answers to the ancient history of the planet.

In the Bolivar´s Hall, during more than two hours time, the Koricancha - Saqsaywaman Project was presented to a big audience, with the presence of the General Consul of Peru in Spain, Mr. Ricardo Oré and other diplomatic representatives from the Peruvian Embassy in Madrid.

Short Information on Phase II
We expect to initiate Phase II during 2009, the excavation phase at the selected sites is expected to take 3—8 months.
We are convinced that we will discover the fabled CHINKANA.
Should the Chincana contain religious and other objects of archaeological and historical interest (National Heritage of Peru), we intend, with the Peruvian Governments permission, to use parts of the CHINKANA to create a museum to give the public access to study the supposed treasures of the Inca Empire.
